So, who am I?
My name is Sara, a 27 year old animal fanatic, in short. In 2008 i moved to the "countryside" with my little zoo, and in the fall of 2009 i began my Animal protection & Ethology studies, so in about 3 years I will be a biologist.
I bought my first ferret, Jajja, in Italy, January 2003. A Marshall Farms ferret, very unlike the ferrets I own today. In late 2003 i moved back to Sweden, and a few months later Jajja tragically passed away in an accident. However I couldn't remain "ferretless" for long, and in May my first Swedish ferret moved in. What a schock, in comparaison to my oh so calm Jajja! Since then time has passed and a few (hmm, sarcasm anyone?) more ferrets have entered my home, leaving everlasting pawprints in my heart.
At the moment I share my home with 11 ferrets of various age, shape and color. All my ferrets roam free in my home, as I only use cages for shows and transportation. In addition, I have a ferret proof outside yard, where my two groups of ferrets take turns spending time.
All my ferrets are fed a natural diet, as I beleive it is the best way I can affect their health and wellbeing.
